Glitz and Glamour New Years Eve Wedding

Mindy and Eric tied the knot on New Year's Eve among family and friends and then partied into the new year in style with this glitz and glam wedding. This may be our favorite pink and gold wedding ever, with plenty of custom details and a 'Kiss Me At Midnight' theme. We can't think of a more wonderful New Year's Resolution than saying 'I Do' to your soul mate and promising to love them forever!

You're going to need plenty of time to ooh and aah over this beauty captured by the talented Blair Schluter Photography, so don't let us keep you!

Guests were greeted at the entrance to the reception by gold party horn place cards and tins of 'Happy New Years' headbands to set the tone for the evening.

Simple cardstock clock-inspired printouts were placed on gold chargers - under the glass plates - adding the perfect New Year's touch to each guests' place setting.

A popcorn bar with plenty of topping choices featured custom popcorn boxes and a custom sign with suggestions for flavor combinations.

Two custom cakes made for the perfect wedding-day treats to hold guests over until midnight. The main wedding cake is an elegant 5 tier white cake with gold sparkle accents and pink sugar flowers. The groom's cake features a more rustic feel with a 'naked cake' finish, lush greenery, and an antler monogram cake topper.

Bling in The New Year - Glitter & Gold New Year's Eve Inspiration Board

Christmas is so close you can taste it and you probably have sampled some of those sugar cookies already! This means New Year's Eve is also right around the corner. We'd like to take this opportunity to inspire you to ring in the New Year with some glitz and glamour.

If you are planning a New Year's wedding, you may think it is a little late in the planning stage for our newest inspiration board. We say, it is never too late to add a dash of glitter! Fig and Platinum New Year

Eggplant (or rich purple) is proving to be one of 2011's up and coming wedding colors among brides. Rich, dramatic, and gorgeous....can I please just say, I love this color!!  With the right New Year around the corner, I couldn't help but think how perfect this dramatic shade would be for a New Years Eve wedding.  The drama of this deep purplish shade would look stunning paired with a sparkling, contrasting hue like silver and white.  For this inspiration board, I pulled my color palette from the fig fruit.  Deep purple on the outside and pink on the inside, pair with sparkling accents and you will have yourself a fabulous wedding color combo.
