Where the Wild Things Are Styled Shoot

When this styled shoot hit our inboxes, we couldn't look away. One of our all time favorite children's book "Where the Wild Things Are" turned into a love story and brought to life in all it's wedding glory.  We just can't believe it. We love the whimsy of it all, being transported to a make believe land of wonder and mischief, who could ask for more?  The invitations alone, designed by Anthologie Press, are enough to make anyone jump for joy, packaged with real moss and fur.  The entire day is spent in the wilderness, pulling out layers of details that make the touching words from the book carry throughout the shoot. Not to mention the Colorado views are nothing short of spectacular. Captured and brought to life by Elizabeth Cryan Photography, we hope you enjoy this wild rumpus as much as us.

The groom sailed to a far off land to find his wild thing and made her his bride.

One of our all time favorite quotes from the book, this shoot just wouldn't be complete without the iconic phrase "I'll eat you up, I love you so"

The textures in this tablescape are stunning. The moss, bark, and fur details really add the finishing touches to this wild wedding and brings the earthy, wilderness theme to life.
