5 Fabulous Fall Wedding Favors

Fall Wedding TablescapeCalling all Fall Brides! Have you picked out your wedding favors yet? As a fall bride myself, I can tell you that I have been putting this task off. It's not that there aren't any good ideas out there for fall favors, there's actually too many! Too many ideas leads to indecisiveness on my part! Well I have searched the web for some of the best ideas that aren't too cliché or overdone. My best advice for fall wedding favors is to go with something edible and comforting. That's what fall is all about - comfort food! Read on for our Top 5 picks for wedding favors this fall.
5 Fabulous Fall Wedding Favors

1. Pumpkin Whoopie Pies - For this wedding favor we see a fall twist on the traditional chocolate whoopie pie. These delectable cream cheese filled treats will please guests, young and old! Find the recipe here.

2. While the idea of caramel apple favors for a fall wedding isn't a brand spanking new idea, it is still a great one! How much more fall can you get than caramel apples. What we love is to use mini apples for this treat (more cost effective and easier to eat)! Decorate with coordinating ribbon and you have a wonderful take home fall treat.

3. Fall Seed Wedding Favors - How neat are these plant-able paper leaf wedding favors?? Seeds are already embedded in the paper leaf shapes. All your guests have to do is take them home and cover with a thin layer of soil and keep damp. Place a leaf with instructions at each place setting and add to your fall table decor.

4. Fall Acorn Cookies are simply darling and not to mention delicious! Chocolate kisses, mini vanilla wafers, and peanut butter chips combine to mimic this darling fall icon. If you are a DIY bride, gather your friends and family and have an acorn wedding favor making party. These treats are too cute to ignore!

5. Cup and Saucer Favors are a wonderful choice for fall weddings. Fall is the time of year to enjoy hot cider and cocoa, espresso and coffee, or any drinks that are warm and toasty! These neat cup and saucer favors can be filled with drink mixes, coffee beans, or even candy. Find these fabulous favors here.

A Masquerade Ball Wedding Inspiration Board for a Magical Night

Bride Wearing Elegant Mask

In the spirit of Mardi Gras, we have put together a few wonderful ideas for a Masquerade Ball themed wedding.  At some point in your life, you may have dreamed of attending a grand ball with glamorous dresses, wonderful food, dancing, and of course incredible romance.  A Masquerade Ball wedding could be the theme you are looking for if you want a formal affair that your guests will remember for a lifetime.

A grand ball gown for you, and Victorian-looking tux for your groom will get you on track to a perfectly planned Masquerade Wedding.  Should you choose to have your ceremony in a church, masks may not be appropriate for the ceremony, but you can opt for an extravagant hairpiece, maybe with a short veil or ostrich feathers.  Traditional colors for a Masquerade-themed event include rich hues like royal purples, reds, and greens accented by gold, silver, and black.

Fall Themed Weddings

It may seem to soon to think about falling leaves and the smell of crisp fall air but not if you're planning a fall themed wedding now is the perfect time to start making your plans.

Fall themed weddings are my favorite of all weddings. I love the colors of fall, such as green, orange, red and brown. Mix in some gold, copper and bronze to add drama.

Fall is also the perfect time of the year for an outdoor wedding, when it is not too hot or too cold. A fall outdoor wedding or outdoor reception can utilize all the wonderful natural things about the fall, like pumpkins, gourds, straw, corn stalks, apple cider etc.

You can make beautiful table centerpieces just by using the natural items that are available in the fall. Hollow out pumpkins or gourds to hold beautiful fall flowers such as daisies, sunflowers or mums. Add fall fruit to your center pieces such as apples, cranberries or pears.

When you’re thinking menu, think comfort food. Turkey, red potatoes, cornbread dressing and all the fixings are perfect for your fall themed wedding. For a beverage serve hot apple cider with cinnamon sticks.

Fall wedding favors can be homemade like fudge, candy apples, honey or jam. Another idea would be a candy buffet of all your favorite Halloween candies.

The ideas are endless and some much fun. Be creative and happy planning!
