Rustic Romance Vancouver Country Wedding
We are absolutely giddy over this wedding we are about to share with you today! With the number of weddings that cross our screens on any given day, it's the weddings like this one - featuring country charm hand in hand with luxurious and modern twists - that keep us on our toes. We cannot thank Will Pursell Photography enough for sending this gorgeous wedding our way to share with all of you!
Natalie and Braden planned a jaw-dropping rustic wedding in Vancouver, BC that is beyond perfect, from the stunning attire right down to the reception decor you will have to see to fully appreciate. We'll give you a hint - think glass bottles in all sizes filled with flowers in all shades of purple paired with hanging chandeliers and gold accents. Yeah, you're going to want to take your time looking through this stunner!
You better get scrolling - and you'll want to be sure you don't miss the doughnut table. (Yes, we said doughnut table!) And have we told you yet how much we adore this wedding?
The romantic ceremony was held at the Celebration Pavilion in Vancouver, which features a retractable glass wall allowing for a unique open-air feel and incredible outdoor view behind the bride and groom - if you think you can look away from these two!
The bride wore blue socks for her "something blue" and a peach colored stone necklace, while the groom's attire accented hers flawlessly with a peach tie to match her necklace. The bridesmaids wore beautiful gowns in different shades of purple which look amazing next to their groomsman partner wearing a custom made tie to match the dresses.
The reception took place in the beautiful Diamond Alumni Centre at Simon Fraser University, in Burnaby, BC. Perched atop Burnaby mountain, this location could not be more picture-perfect, with a beautiful panoramic view of Burrard Inlet and the North Shore mountains.
The rustic vintage styling on these dessert tables features burlap and lace along with old-fashioned cake stands. In addition to the ivory pearl and glittery gold wedding cake, guests helped themselves to Krispy Kreme donuts as they partied the night away from these extra-sweet doughnut dessert tables.
We love that the bride and groom both wore cowboy boots and with their love for country music, the burlap and lace featured throughout the reception was just the right touch. Gold Chiavari chairs and vintage-style gold framed table numbers give a modern touch while hanging chandeliers lend more of a whimsical, wander-lust feel. We are not sure how they dreamed up this wedding decor concept, but we would have to say this bride and groom have done an amazing job bringing together every single detail!

Rustic Fall Orchard Wedding
It's officially the first day of autumn here and we couldn't be more excited to share this timely fall wedding inspiration with you today. Full of rustic and country inspired details, Ashley and Corey's real wedding took place in the middle of an apple orchard at the beautiful Bennett's Orchard in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. The decor was spot on from the vintage, shabby chic styled doors that the bride walked through to the couple's signature apple cider drink. We love the groomsmen's plaid checkered shirts and pink ties which added to the laid back country styling. A big thank you to Gage Blake Photography for capturing and sharing all the details in this lovely, DIY wedding. Doesn't it make you want to grab a mug of warm apple cider and take a stroll?
Stealworthy Idea: The vintage doors that framed the entrance to the ceremony are an amazing idea. A very romantic and elegant way to add a focal point and ground the wedding aisle. The wedding party arrived by horse drawn wagon which was perfectly fitting for this orchard venue.
This wedding guest book alternative is a unique twist on the traditional guest sign-in area. Rather than having an actual book for guests to write in, the bride and groom opted to have guests sign a bench to be displayed in their home after the wedding. Such a great way to remember their special day.
Hanging from the apple trees were wicker baskets and mason jars full of fresh flowers. Trailing ribbons and burlap bows accented the tree branches. This sweetly styled detail provided a backdrop for the bride and groom to say their vows.
