Classic Elegance Rainy Spring Wedding in the Mountains

Jenn and Zack were married on a rainy spring day at the Nestldown retreat in California - and the results are gorgeous! Nestled in the redwoods, their wedding venue offered both breathtaking views and rustic elegance, providing the perfect backdrop to their romantic wedding ceremony and reception. The bridal party looked fantastic, with the bridesmaids in long navy dresses and the groomsmen in gray slacks with dress shirts, ties, and suspenders.

Every last detail was put together thoughtfully - from the photo guest book to the super cute homemade placecards complete with meal choice indicators. Soft ivories and whites are used throughout the flowers and linens to complement the navy accents. Chevron tablecloths draw attention to the cake and gift tables, and add a dash of whimsy to an elegant event. Traditional Mexican Themed Wedding in San Diego

Mexican weddings give true meaning to family, togetherness, and tradition.  When Christy and Jose's wedding graced our in-boxes, we were so taken with their vibrant and fantastic details.

Christy and Jose tied the knot at the romantic Saint Francis Chapel, owned by the Museum of Man in Balboa Park, CA. These two love family and wanted to focus on a traditional Mexican themed wedding.  They did not disappoint.  I mean, the live mariachi band at their ceremony is above and beyond fantastic.

Keeping with any traditional Mexican wedding, both the bride and groom's families helped tremendously with the wedding details.  Their reception was held at the Mission Bay Women's Club and the groom's family cooked all the food. Their vibrant heritage-inspired decor was the perfect backdrop for a fun and lively reception. Everything was done on a budget, and the couple and their families did such a great job in making their wedding vision come true.  A huge thank you to Brit Jaye Photography for sharing this beautiful wedding with us.  The day was definitely one filled with joy, family, love, and laughter.

Every aspect of the couple's wedding cake helped tie in their traditional theme.  From the hand crafted, Mexican cake topper figurines all the way down to the heirloom glass cake stand.

We adore Christy and Jose's unique seating arrangement idea that incorporated Mexican Loteria cards.  Such a great and unexpected addition! The vibrant, heritage infused styling of this wedding really pulled together the feeling of tradition, family, and commitment.

Romantic California Mansion Wedding: Jenny and Drew

We'll keep it short and sweet this week so that you can get right to the good stuff - you are going to want to look through every last gorgeous detail from these romantic California nuptials captured by Modern Love Photography!  Jenny and Drew chose the stately James Leary Flood Mansion in San Francisco for their wedding and reception, and it could not be any more stunning.  Just try not to love every perfectly placed flower in the mansion and the red carpet-worthy  attire featured on the bride and groom - not to mention the bridal party decked out in simple yet elegant style for the affair!
