Lavish Boston Skyscraper Real Wedding

Every once in a while, a real wedding comes across our desks that has us swooning for days. This stunner, captured and shared with us by the incredibly talented Mark Davidson Photography, is like something out of a dream. Alex and Jessica were married on a gorgeous day in Boston, Massachusetts in The State Room - an event space perched atop a skyscraper with incredible views of the harbor and city. You are not going to want to miss a single dazzling detail!

Their dreamy arbor was draped with a combination of flowing fabric and fresh flowers, and positioned in front of a wall of windows showcasing a panoramic view of the city. A personalized unity candle set was printed with a heart design, their names, and date and perched atop a gold stand to be lit during their ceremony.

The bride and groom treated their guests to an impressive array of candy at their 'Love is Sweet' candy buffet. With custom candy favor bags and labeled glass candy filled to the top with delicious treats, this is one of the best candy bars we've ever seen - and we are betting their friends and family loved it!

An assortment of clear and mercury glass vases adorn each table at the reception, and are filled with fresh-cut flowers in varying shades of pink and white along with soft greens. Clear chargers and toasting flutes with gold accents add a classic feel to each table setting.

A Bridesmaid Gift Box Your Ladies Will Love

Let's face it - weddings are a lot of work!  Chances are, your maid of honor and bridesmaids have been a big help throughout the planning process and you'll want to thank them for everything they have done to make your big day everything you've ever dreamed.  We've put together a beautiful box that any bridesmaid would love to open and enjoy to inspire you as you decide what to give the most important ladies in your life.

Robes:  Silk bridesmaids robes make for a perfect gift because they make your best girls feel pampered and glamorous as you all get dressed for the wedding - and they ensure you will end up with gorgeous photos of the morning's festivities. The accompanying tie works perfectly when tied in a bow on the gift box or bag. Have each bridesmaid's robe embroidered with a name or initial for an extra special touch.

Jewelry:  Gift your bridesmaids with their wedding day jewelry to ensure they are all wearing what you envision to give your wedding photos the look you want. After the wedding, they'll have it as a memento and to wear to any future events.

Tumblers:  Monogrammed plastic tumblers make a perfect, useful gift. They are available in a variety of color combinations, and can be used for cold or warm beverages. Keep any drinks from spilling as you and your bridesmaids get ready for the day, and use them after the wedding at home, work, and in the car. The three letter monogram adds a personal touch and will keep your ladies from mixing them up!

Extras:  Consider including extras like a mini bottle of wine or champagne or a spa essential such as nail polish or lip gloss to round out the perfect bridesmaid gift!

Your bridesmaids will be so excited to open their little boxes loaded with goodies. Your best girls will never forget how much thought you put into their gifts, and will treasure their custom accessories for years to come!

DIY Pastel and Burlap Beer Bar Wedding

Held on a gorgeous piece of property on the side of Panther Pond in Maine, this lakeside soiree is chock full of darling do-it-yourself details.  We are so grateful to Kim at Time Bandit Photography for sharing her stunning photos of this wonderful wedding with us.  The mother of the bride, with the help of many family members and friends, did an absolutely amazing job of curating the decorations and landscape, and the weather was just right.  Amanda and Andrew are so obviously in love you could just melt.  The wedding was fairly casual, and the atmosphere of laid back enjoyment and festivity makes us want to join the party.

An assortment of potted plants (in a super cute canoe!) is an easy but beautiful addition to the wedding decor.  A large custom wood wall featured photos of the bride and groom as well as handcrafted signs with cute sayings that held meaning for Amanda and Andrew.

The wedding and reception decorations consisted of paper lanterns and soft touches of pastel peaches and pinks throughout bouquets and reception table centerpieces.  Round tables were covered with white tablecloths and burlap table runners, and featured custom wood planters - printed with the bride and groom's names and wedding date - filled with beautiful flowers.  Favors were presented at each place setting in burlap bags.

Beer was served from a custom built beer bar with two taps into personalized frosted plastic wedding cups with the couple's names, wedding date, and designs printed in light brown.  Guests also enjoyed lemonade, iced tea, and two different types of colorful sangria loaded with fresh fruit.
